We’ve compiled a list of some of the best places in or around Austin to get you feeling merry and bright this holiday season. Which Christmas light displays are you the most excited to see?
Mozart’s Annual Holiday Light Show
Where: Mozart’s Coffee Roasters | Lake Austin, TX
When: November 9th-January 6th
Enjoy an amazing light show, photo zones, concessions, and more, at Mozart’s Annual Light Show! There are two ways to experience Mozart’s Light Show: Reserved Table Tickets and Bavarian Marketplace General Admission Tickets.
- Reserved Table Tickets are $40 for a 4-person table and $60 for a 6-person table.
- Bavarian Marketplace GA Tickets accommodates walk-through guests.
Tickets for the Nautical Light Show and Silent Disco are also available.
Peppermint Parkway
Where: Circuit of the Americas | Austin, TX
When: November 24th-December 30th
Drive through Peppermint Parkway, with a mile of 6 million lights, holiday displays, and dancing characters, and end at Peppermint Plaza, full of rides & sweet treats, pictures with Santa, and a Mistletoe Kissing Booth! Peppermint Parkway has also included Pepper’s Petting Zoo this year, with pony rides, baby goats, chickens, and more!
Peppermint Parkway offers four ticket packages:
- Parkway Admission: $40 – Includes admission for 1 vehicle to Peppermint Parkway and 4 admission tickets to Peppermint Plaza
- Parkway Admission + Track Lap: $65 – Parkway Admission Package + a 25 mph lap around the F1 racetrack
- Parkway Admission + Fast Pass: $80 – Parkway Admission Package + fast pass entrance
- The Sweetest Deal: $99 – Parkway Admission Package + Track Lap + Fast Pass
Austin Trail of Lights
Where: Zilker Park | Austin, TX
When: December 8th-23rd
The 59th Annual Austin Trail of Lights, hosted by the Trail of Lights Foundation, will kick off in Zilker Park on December 8th! Austin Trail of Lights is the longest-running holiday tradition of its kind in Austin, making it a staple for Austinites year after year.
The Trail of Lights features over 2 million lights, 90 lighted holiday trees, and 70+ other holiday displays and lighted tunnels.
Various ticket options are available, depending on the day you are looking to attend:
- General Admission: Includes access to Trail of Lights, free photos with Santa, and more!
- Zip Passes: Includes access to Trail of Lights, 6pm early access + exclusive entrance, access to the ZIP Lounge Area in Candy Cane Lane
- Platinum Passes: Included access to Trail of Lights, 6pm early access, valet parking, shuttle access to Trailhead, access to a private Platinum Lounge, one drink + ride ticket, and more!
- Parking Passes: $25 | Shuttle Passes: $8
