Mozart’s Coffee Roasters – Late November – January 1
From 6 PM – 12 AM every night starting towards the end of the month, this coffee and dessert paradise wow visitors with its free light show. See how they transform their large deck into a Christmas wonderland!
Georgetown’s Annual Lighting of the Square – November 29
Start getting your voice warmed up to join the carolers as they croon out some of the favorite holiday songs as the lights go on at 5:30 PM. If you can’t make it out to the first official lighting, don’t worry. The lights will be turned on around the square every night starting at 5:30 from November 29 – December 31.
53rd Annual Zilker Holiday Tree – December 1
Kick off the first day of December by coming out to listen to music by the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble at 5:30 PM, before watching the tree light up, taking in some local entertainment, and grabbing a bite to eat at 6 PM. Check out the 155 feet tall tree from December 1 – January 1.
Downtown Holiday Stroll – December 7
The 25th annual Holiday Stroll kicks off at 5 PM with live music, a holiday market, photos with Santa, kids play area, food trucks, special anniversary photo-ops, and more! Gather on the capital steps for the annual KUT & KUTX Holiday Sing-Along at 6 PM and then countdown to the lighting of the downtown tree at 7 PM.
The Austin Trail of Lights – December 10 – 23
The Zilker Tree isn’t the only remarkable display of holiday spirit at Zilker Park. There are over 40 displays and 2 million lights are featured at the Trail of Lights. Be sure to check out tickets and plan when to go and see this display with your family.
