Tis the season for giving – many of us are incredibly blessed and fortunate. At Prism Realty Partners, we strive to make a difference in our local community, and today, we’d like to share a charity that is near and dear to our hearts–Meals on Wheels Central Texas.
Meals on Wheels Central Texas seeks to nourish and enrich the lives of homebound individuals and others in need of programs that promote dignity and independent living.
This is a cause close to Michele Eilers’ heart. As the broker/founder of Prism Realty, Michele loves this organization because she wishes she could be in Alabama to deliver meals to her special grandmother, Veta Bagley. Veta remains in her own home because of the generosity of others, including organizations like Meals on Wheels Central Texas.
To “pay it forward” and give back to those in the local community, Prism Realty volunteers with the Meals on Wheels organization each month. If you’re looking to make a difference in our local community, please consider supporting this organization with a monetary donation or as a volunteer. For so many homebound individuals, it means the opportunity to age in place for as long as possible.
